CURC Steering Committee
August 2, 1999 Conference Call Minutes
Attendees: Roger Guzowski, Christine von Kolnitz, Sheri Stewart, Rob
Gogan, Krista Henkels, Julie Aplington, Karen Kaplan, Fritz Franke and
Jack Debell
Brochures went out for Cincinnati. The brochures were Tree Free.
WEB
Karen will correct any discrepancies with the Workshops and send an
e-mail to Fritz requesting to have the Workshops added to the WEB site.
Add CURC brochure to WEB page. Karen will get electronic brochure and
will give it Fritz.
Sheri will prepare agenda for Steering Committee Meeting on Friday September
24 from 1-7 sstewart@osf1.gmu.edu.
Misc.
Karen will be gone
August 16th – August 30.
Introduced new secretary Pamela Flattich.
National Workshop
Kristine and Bill will put an advertisement on the WEB to solicit videos
from people - Jack, K2, Fritz or video clips under profiles.
Each person will review final workshop version.
We are officially a panel in the NRC process. We have reviewed papers.
Regional Conferences
Spring 2000 University of Las Vegas set as Central site no. 1, Nebraska
site no. 2, Southeastern still pending.
Regional Representatives
Mailing lists - Sheri will look into getting a Master Electronic List
from APPA. Sheri will forward it to Julie.
Krista will forward a job description to Pam for marketing student for
a budgeted intern position. Pam will have the student prepare a database
which can be queried by region membership.
Standards
Everyone send data to Kurt in Cincinnati by September 1st for input
into fiscal 1999 campus recycling profile.
NRC council agreement
Next conference call September 7, 1999 at 12:00.
