Victoria and Roger are still doing preliminary work on CURC partnerships and discussing groups to connect with. Ed's been working on the OH RO, schools and CURC. Ed and Pat will discuss this off the call.

d. Business Meeting - Tuesday, 9/10, 3:15 - 5:15 p.m.

Pete will e-mail a copy of last year's agenda for the planning and business meetings to solicit ideas for our agenda in Austin.

e. Social events - Karyn Kaplan is unable to plan the CURC social events. Dale and Victoria will check with TX contacts they have to solicit ideas for a Saturday night social gathering.

II. Work Plan

a. General: ROs vary so much from state to state that it greatly increases the challenge in coordinating a nation-wide relationship with ROs. Pat will work with Carolyn to develop a survey for CURC members to find out where they fall in their school structure, which government or non-government organizations they work with most, whether they are an NRC member through their RO, etc. This information will help to determine what might make for the best CURC partnerships as well as the best way to reach members and potential members. Karyn Kaplan is working on the ABCs manual for the web and also some of the member benefits issues.

b. Committee leaders update - Membership and Publications are still open. Ed may be interested in Membership and will discuss it with Pete in the near future. Carolyn and Pat are willing to help with membership from the RO angle. Still looking for someone for Publications.

c. Time lines/action plans - Pete will redistribute the spreadsheet we've been using for timelines. Leaders for specific projects can provide input as to a timeline and any missing items.

III. Final -- Next call scheduled for Aug. 7.

Congratulations, our call was finished in exactly on hour!
