2008-2009 NRC Board of Directors Election

In this election, NRC members will fill six (6) seats on NRC’s board of directors. The five candidates receiving the most votes will serve three year terms. The candidate with the lowest vote total will serve a two year term.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS SLATE SELECTION CRITERIA

The NRC Board of Directors determines the organization’s overall direction and is responsible for ensuring the organization’s financial health and sustainability. All current NRC members may review the election information and consider candidacy for the NRC Board of Directors. Last year, ten candidates for the NRC Board of Directors were presented to the membership. These individuals were reviewed and vetted by the Coalition’s Slate Selection Committee, with the final approval of the slate by the Executive Committee of the NRC’s Board of Directors. Each applicant must meet the following minimum qualifications: A Director must be at least 18 years of age and a member in good standing for at least one year prior to taking office.
