Industrial Resources Council (IRC)

The Industrial Resources Council is a market development cooperative, formed to leverage resources necessary to address industrial recycling issues that affect multiple industry sectors. Market development challenges include overcoming regulatory, educational, economic and engineering barriers in place that made utilizing the waste and byproduct materials generated in society. As the disposal costs increase across the country, there is increased pressure – and financial incentive – to recover and recycle industrial byproducts for use in secondary applications.
IRC members include: Construction Materials Recycling Association, Foundry Industry Recycling Starts Today, National Council for Air & Stream, National Slag Association, Rubber Manufacturers Association.
