Description: Bring your Ferrous (iron), Non Ferrous items to Powers Elementary School, 620 Hillside Dr., Beloit, The Powers/Townview PTO & BEHR Recycling are teaming together to hold an ALUMINUM CAN & METAL RECYCLING DRIVE.
Ferrous (Iron) items include: washing machines, driers, stoves, fridges, dishwashers, freezers, push lawn mowers, riding mowers, rotor tillers, snow blowers, sheet iron old metal sheds, rakes, drags, smaller farm implements, pressure tanks, air compressors, generators, pipes..etc. Anything with metal or metal contents; items consisting of mostly steel but can have some plastic, cloth, wood, etc. attached to it.
Non Ferrous items(your magnet won't stick to it) include: aluminum cans, copper, brass, lead, zinc, auto batteries, electrical wiring, electrical motors, stainless steel, starters, alternators, radiators, etc.
- Please NO television sets or computers. A GREAT WAY TO CELEBRATE AMERICA RECYCLES DAY!
